#LOVE2020: “THE YEAR OF LOVE.”—So Much Time: Spend Quality Time With God.

#LOVE2020: “THE YEAR OF LOVE.”—So Much Time: Spend Quality Time With God. Develop a spiritual walk with God daily. Do this by developing a relationship with God and man. Develop your mind. Don’t allow others to discourage you mentally. Look at yourself in the mirror. Get to know who you are as a person. Conduct yourself in a manner that’s pleasing to God, not man. Learn the value of showing respect. Educators respect students.
Students respect all educators. CIrcumstances and situations may come in your life; they come to make you strong. While you are sheltered at home, discipline yourself. Discipline your mind. Discipline your body by eating the best possible healthy diet. Discipline your body by exercising safely as often as possible. (Practice social distancing.) Finally, it is so important to take time to pray. Pray for yourself. Pray for your family. Pray for your church. Pray for your community. Pray for your state. Pray for your nation. Pray for all the world. We can find comfort in the words of an old gospel song which states, “the things that we love, and are dear to our heart, are just borrowed; they are not ours at all. Jesus only let us use them, to brighten up our lives. Every now and then, you must remind us Dear Lord.” In times of tribulation, allow your faith to give you peace. Be calmed by your faith. Trust in God. God’s power is always at work in our life. Open up your mind. In spite of disease, death, and devastation all around you; allow your heart to welcome you to spiritual love. Stay faithful. Stay strong. Stay safe. Be blessed.

#LOVE2020: “THE YEAR OF LOVE.”—This Is Your Journey: Moulding Minds For A Great Future.

The power of one; finding ways to make a difference. To students and adults who are at home each day; I encourage you to make good use of your time. But, when you get the opportunity, read, read, and read. “Reading is fundamental.” Reading is empowering. Reading is knowledge. Reading is developing brain power. Reading improves your creative thinking and mental processing. Great reading skills lead to great scientists, biologists, educators, leaders, journalists, and many other professions. I appeal to students and adults who do little or no reading to make it your goal to say when the Coronavirus is over, “I love reading.” Hopefully, students and adults will discover why they were not motivated to read. I wanted my book, “The Journey: From Love To Love,” to be an easy reading book for youth and adults regardless of their age. I intentionally used short essays, short poems, short passages, and short narratives. I suggested in the book that readers, “read it their way.” (Choose a favorite chapter, narrative, passage, or poem.) My desire was that readers would develop a greater interest in reading various sources. I enjoyed reading great Biblical stories, teachings, and parables as told by Jesus. I want to inspire, encourage, and challenge, students and adults to improve their reading skills by taking time each day, or from time to time, to develop their writing skills. Reading and writing compliment each other. On Friday, April 10th, I will begin a “storytime” reading and writing video project on my “songsloveroses” website. The storytime video project will be called, “this is your journey.” I will read for a short period of time, a short passage, short narrative, short essay, or short poem. I will make one new video per week until the start of the 2020 fall school term. My hope is that students and adults will find these short reading videos useful. At the end of the video I will give a writing topic so students and adults, if they wish, can practice their writing skill. This will not be competitive. Students will be able to send their short writing to my email address. I will evaluate their progress. There will be no need for anyone to get someone to write for them. That, then will be both their thinking and writing. I will help you to be honest at your level of writing. It is only then, that growth can take place. If you are really seeking to improve your reading and writing skills, it will befit you when the new school year starts, by helping you to be a better student. The goal is for you to learn, grow and develop. Remember, “this is your journey.” Let’s make it special. This is the foundation for your future. “If I can help someone along the way, my work is not in vain.” Stay safe.

ANOTHER KEY MESSAGE FROM “THE JOURNEY” 2019

# 2019 “The Journey: From Love To Love”–Last week the Winter season changed to Spring. Spring brought a new season of nature’s love. I’ll rejoice daily in the power, promises, and presence of spiritual love. The name of this poem for the Spring season in our lives is, “Jesus is my Light of Love: With Love, I’ll Stay Alive.” I’ll grow strong. I’ll daily learn how to move forward on my own. As long as I know how to love; I know I will stay alive. I know that I won’t fall. Jesus leads me. He guides me. Jesus is my light of love. He lives in me. He directs my path. Jesus gives me strength from above. I got so much to give. I got my life to live. I am so grateful for love. Sometimes in life, it takes witnessing the changing of seasons, to remind me to be thankful for my blessings. My way gets hard. My path gets dark. When love shines bright; love is my light. As long as I abide in the presence of love; Jesus promised to be my light of love. Seasons may change in my life; with love, I’ll stay alive.

A KEY MESSAGE FROM “THE JOURNEY” 2019

#2019 “The Journey: From Love To Love”–Don’t wait for a special occasion to let children know that you love them. Always, let children know that you have faith and trust in them. Let children know that you appreciate them. Let children know that they are worthy of love. I wrote this poem to encourage children, parents, and caregivers. The name of the poem is, ” When A Child Is Loved.” When you ask a child to stop what the child is doing; because, you know that what the child is doing is wrong. The child may not understand; but, you must still demand. When you demonstrate that you care; a child will learn to accept your discipline. When a child is Loved: a child may not always pass your discipline test. But, because you demonstrated that you care; a child is willing to do his or her best. A child may struggle in the morning. A child may struggle at night. But, because a child is calmed by the presence of love; the child is going to be alright. So, don’t get discouraged, when there are days that seems you won’t make it through; keep a smile on your face. Show courage and determination. A foundation of love is molded; when a child is loved.

#LOVE2020: THE YEAR OF LOVE.”—Tragedy and Crisis: “The worst in America in 2020 is yet to come.”

How can 2020 be called, “the year of love?” Because God is Love. Because God so loved. Because God made man in His image. Remove all anxieties, fears, and stress, by repeating daily a simple prayer, “Lord, thank you for being God. Have your way in in my life. ‘Lord, it’s in your hands.’ I trust you. Amen.” Stay faithful. Stay strong. Be blessed.

#LOVE2020: “THE YEAR OF LOVE.”—The Deadly Coronavirus Crisis In America: Ignoring The Warnings; A matter of Life and Death.

In spite of national, state, and local, health awareness and virus prevention efforts, to get the message to everyone about real deadly consequences of the Coronavirus; many people are not taking the proven and active deadly health warnings serious. This is in spite of the infection rate and death count rapidly increasing daily. To quote one local authority, “more tests are coming back positive than negative at this time.” Openly and carelessly ignoring the seriousness of Coronavirus health warnings, exposes all areas of society: young and old, rich and poor, and all races, ethnics, and cultures. Every day of awareness and prevention becomes even more critical than the day before. Hospital supplies and necessities for doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers are in critical short supply. Masks and tests are in high demand, but in short supply. Protective health supplies for first responders are in short supply. If individuals and family members of all ages fail to daily follow emergency guidelines and ordinances, positive infections and deaths will soar in numbers far greater than anyone can imagine. Be aware that when those with low income, or those with little or no health insurance spread the virus to their home, church, or community, the chances of passing the various to others is much greater. There are also the potential of more suffering and deaths due to the lack of doctors, hospitals, or health facilities. (Remember the Biblical story where Noah continously warned the people that it was going to rain. “Many people paid Noah no mind, and when it happened, they were left behind.”) Those that follow the news, social media, or text to family members, friends, coworkers, or church members should spread the message that, “the Coronavirus is serious and deadly.” There was a report on March 21, 2020, from W.L.O.S., in Camden, South Carolina that stated, “A seven-month old from South Carolina tested positive for the Coronavirus. His grandmother also tested positive.” In a news report also, on March 22, 2020, Italy ask the U.S. for military assistance in handling 400 deaths in one day from the Coronavirus. There were 651 Coronavirus deaths in forty eight hours. According to an Italian nurse, the situation is unimaginable.” (C.N.N. Newsroom). If you fail to take action today, tomorrow may be too late. Don’t wait until the Coronavirus infection, or death from the Coronavirus, comes to your home and take not just one or two family members, but take several family members of the same family. At that time, choosing to get serious, or shedding regretted tears is too little, too late. For spiritual believers; yes, God is able. God is in charge. Everyone must take a responsible, caring attitude, to protect themselves and others. Do the right thing: Now!! The Coronavirus is a real life or death virus in our lifetime. This crisis is too serious for nonbelievers or believers to take lightly. Surely, we don’t know what the future holds, but, we must do our part to make life better in these times. Just act now: obey, pray, believe, and love. Yes, God will do the rest. Trust in God. Stay faithful. Stay strong. Be blessed.

#LOVE2020:”THE YEAR OF LOVE.”–Post Coronavirus Awareness: Critical Challenging Times Ahead.

Hopefully, lessons learned during the Coronavirus Crisis, will make America wiser and stronger. It is essential that all areas of society make preparation to deal with post Coronavirus fear, panic anxiety, stres, and uncertainty. It can be stated today that there will be an enormous rise in demand for assistance in many, many areas for youth and adults. Today, those in authority, should confront the reality that if there is a lack of preparation or a failure to address critical areas where there are needs, there will be an increase in mental, emotional, and physical health conditions. There will be an increase in the crime rate. There will be an increase in suicide and attempted suicide. These are just a few examples. When you think about social, business, and educational needs and concerns, you can paint an even better picture of what post Coronavirus
weeks, months and years challenges will bring. Everyone in the nation must step up to the plate and be prepared in their specialized areas. The 2020 love journey is a spiritual love journey from the heart that will mold and shape our future. Hearts of love will build that foundation for a loving future. Stay faithful Stay strong. BE blessed.

LOVE2020: THE YEAR OF LOVE.”—Part 2 of a two part post. The Coronavirus- A National and World Crisis: Voices and Hearts Of Love Matter.

I am very humble and grateful that my second book on spiritual love and understanding will be published soon. I titled this book, #LOVE2020: “The Year Of Love.” I wanted this book to be released at the start of the new year, the first week in January, 2020. It didn’t work out for that release timetable. However, the national and world crisis related to the Coronavirus, makes the book future release very timely. I devoted a great deal of time studying and researching how Jesus taught the values of love, and His command for humanity to share spiritual love. In addition, Jesus daily demonstrated compassion, love and caring for others. “Love ye one another.” The Disciples also demonstrated love. They taught and preached on the need for those of faith to also practice, demonstrate, teach, and share spiritual love. I studied how religious leaders and political leaders from Biblical times up to the present year of 2020, dealt with circumstances and crisis. Some led with a compassionate heart of love. Some attempted to lead by their own might, showing no compassion toward the struggles endured by others. I am hopeful that this book will highlight the need for understanding love, and daily demonstrating spiritual love. One chapter that I want to highlight from the book is, “The Dreamkillers: Enemies of Love.” This chapter focuses on those who try to stop others from following their dream or accomplishing their goals. They are enemies of love.
The two other books slated for release in 2020 are, ” Love Awareness: Teach Me How To Eat” ( Understanding our physical body in order to live a long and healthy life. The enemies of maintaining a healthy body are: excessive shorting in diet, excessive sugar, excessive salt, failure to exercise, and the lack of sufficient sleep daily.) The other book is titled, “Love Under My Tree” (A book for Christmas, 2020, which highlights the plight and hope of a young girl who live in an abusive home. For Christmas, this young girl doesn’t want money, clothes, or material things. She only wish for the miraculous gift of a non abusive home, and the miraculous gift of a peaceful and loving home under her tree.) Hopefully, all the 2020 release times will work out. If not, I’ll be okay. I’ll still have joy. My planned timing may not be God’s timing. However my book writing turns out in 2020, I hope my messages were inspirational and demonstrated a service of love for all readers by sharing a spirit of love and sharing the presence of Jesus. I want to thank all healthcare workers for all that you do. To everyone; stay faithful. Stay strong. Be blessed.

#LOVE 2020: “THE YEAR 0F LOVE.”—Part 1 of a two part post. The Coronavirus-A National and World Crisis: Voices and Hearts of Love Matter.

My first book, “The Journey: From Love To Love,” was written when I stepped out on faith, with a spirit of love. There were two things that were clear to me and repeatedly visited me in my spirit. First, the book is not about me. Though the book is based on my childhood to adulthood’s spiritual foundation, it was not written to build me up in any manner as an individual. The book was to highlight the awesome love of God; and our need of God’s daily presence in our life during our earthly journey in our lifetime. We need God to help us have personal relationships with others by loving others. When we show seeds of love, we establish a foundation for a successful future.
Planting seeds of love enables us to harvest spiritual hearts of love. Second, It was clear in my spirit, that I was to study, read, and prepare my mind to grow, develop spiritual maturity, and develop spiritual insight to write future books. Personally, I hoped the book would provide inspiration for readers of all ages. I wanted the theme of the book to highlight that God is love. God is the foundation of love and life. God is the origin of love. The nature and character of God is love. I also wanted to highlight my parents philosophy of raising five boys and five girls. I named that philosophy in the book, the four pillars of love: faith, respect, discipline, and forgiveness. My goal was to also bring about a better understanding of spiritual love. I wanted to inspire and motivate readers to do additional reading and research. I included narratives, poems, spiritual love songs and other additions in the book. In narratives in six chapters, I asked, “where is the love.” These chapters were: The Silent Tears, The Voiceless, Broken and Shattered, Caged by Rage, Loniless and Scorn, and The Golden Years of Hurt and Shame. Today, in America, and around the world, there is a world wide health crisis, called the Coronavirus. National, state, and local political leaders and public service leaders must be aware that people are asking that question in regards to decisions and non decisions that they make: where is the love. This question is also asked in relation to spiritual leaders, business leaders, educational leaders, community leaders, and family leaders in regard to fulfilling their responsibilities: where is the love? Love is not, just a saying, “tongue in cheek.” “Love is the highest form of spiritual development.” Dr. King wrote that,”Love is the greatest force in the universe.” The Coronavirus is a call out to those in authority to, “do the right thing.” This Coronavirus crisis is an opportunity and a call for responsible leaders and everyone to put love in action. Whether it’s making policies, laws, and guidelines, or following policies and guidelines, it all start with a loving heart. There is an article in the New York Post (Thursday, March 18, 2020) by Tracey Tully: “The Coronavirus kill seven members of a single family in Central New Jersey.” Everyone, let you best love light shine. Stay connected through spiritual love. Be faithful. Be safe. Be blessed. (Please read part 2, The Coronavirus-National and World Crisis: Voices and Hearts of Love Matter.)
